Earlier this week, on Monday, I picked out my outfits for the week.  But as I was looking through my gallery I noticed that I was starting to accrue a lot of skirt outfits for M/W’s and a lot of pant outfits for T/Tr.  One of my weird things is that I force myself to wear an even number of skirts, dresses, and pants.

I think that my natural tendency would be to just wear pants and flats everyday, but those aren’t the types of outfits that I think look best.  Plus, I have lots of dresses and skirts in my closet, so I should wear them!  This altered my planned outfits a bit.  Yesterday I had planned to wear a skirt or dress outfit, but after running the numbers I noticed that I should wear a “pants” outfit, instead.

My original idea was to wear my babydoll pink cardigan with a khaki skirt or burgundy pants and a pink, magenta, and burgundy silk scarf to tie it all together.  I once wore an outfit with burgundy on top and blush pink trousers.  It wound up being one of my favorite looks, so I thought that I might use new pieces and reverse the look.  I also had this pin in mind to replicate.  And then I saw this pin and loved the combination of items. And I thought what better way to make leopard print wearable than by pairing it with babydoll pink?  So that’s what I did!

I don’t have a leopard print skirt like in the inspiration photo, but I do have a leopard print blouse.  So, I went with that and then khaki’s for the bottoms.  Here is the result:

To finish off the look I added some accents of gold jewelry in the form of a bracelet and some earrings.  What do you think?  Do you like the blouse tucked in or out?  Please let me know!
