Tuesday morning I wore this outfit to work.  It’s really nothing special– I’ve worn this top a handful of times and I think the very first time that I wore it I layered this navy tank top underneath.  I’ve paired it with my dark wash skinny maternity jeans and gold earrings and watch.  It’s finally starting to feel like Fall so I went with these short suede-like booties and cuffed my pant legs to let my socks peek out.

These are 3 other ways that I’ve styled this top and captured a photo.  The first time I went with a navy tank top underneath (you can’t see it), the second time I went with a hot pink camisole underneath and added a navy woven belt and purple ballet flats, and the 3rd time I went with a cream-colored camisole underneath, a bronze belt, khaki pants, and brown ballet flats.  Now that it’s getting cooler for the entire day, I think that I should start experimenting with wearing different cardigans or blazers over this blouse and try pairing it with different bottoms.

New Jeans

On a recent trip to Wal-Mart I went to check out the maternity section and noticed that the space was completely cleared out!  This meant that the items had been marked for clearance.  I felt a giddy flutter in my stomach– but that could have been Baby Girl showing her excitement.  A quick search turned up the clearanced items and this light wash pair of maternity skinny jeans for $10 made it into my cart.  I went with a large instead of a medium because I wanted them to still fit in a few more weeks.  I’m so glad that I’ve added another option to my maternity wardrobe.

I’ve paired them with a top that I’ve worn several times before, a gold sparkly cardigan, and purple ballet flats.  My jewelry is pretty simple– my everyday silver watch and drop pearl earrings.  This outfit was so comfortable and I felt put together.  Here’s two other ways that I’ve styled this top with a yellow cardigan earlier in my pregnancy:

I’ve worn this top quite a bit but I don’t always take pictures.  The way that it’s cut is very accommodating to my growing baby.

Tuesday I worked at my call center job so I went casual with my outfit.  I’m wearing maternity capri’s, a billowy tank top from Wal-Mart, and a yellow cardigan to complete the look.  Since I pulled my hair back into a low ponytail I felt that it gave the look a sporty vibe so I went with my white leather Converse.  My silver watch and Pandora bracelet finished off the look.  I liked this outfit and felt very pulled together but over-done.

Here is the more dressed up version of this outfit that I wore at around 12 weeks pregnant with navy trousers and gold accessories.  I am also wearing the top tucked in for a more polished look.  Tucking tops in at 21 weeks pregnant really isn’t an option. 🙂

Which version do you like better?  Please let me know in the comments below.
