Last week felt like a Merry go Round that was starting to go too fast and wasn’t fun anymore.  I wanted to get off, but couldn’t because this is my life.  Here is what I wore:

On Tuesday I went with a “prim and proper” type of look with a pink button-up shirt, grey dress and tights, and gold accents.  I didn’t have tights on with this outfit when I planned it out and I wasn’t thrilled about it.  But, when I wore I added the tights and I loved the outfit!

Wednesday I had class in the morning and I had intended on going home in the afternoon before attending a speech competition.  But, the afternoon got away from me– a meeting went late, I had lots of things pop up, and before I knew it there wasn’t time to go home.  Thankfully I was dressed appropriately for the evening event.  It’s a good thing that I didn’t go home, actually because there was a wreck and I would have been late to the event.

I finished the week out with a dress that I took in to a casual zone with a jean jacket, nude tights, and grey boots.  I’m pretty sure that I’ve worn this exact outfit before, but don’t feel like looking through the archives.

You can, though.

Behind, Again

I guess I forgot to write and post my outfit(s) for last week!  I have one professional dressy outfit from class on Tuesday and a casual, comfy outfit from Thanksgiving on Thursday.  Enjoy!

On Tuesday I went with a professional type of an outfit– it’s a pair of black trousers and a black blazer with a leopard print tie neck blouse underneath.  I’ve done this outfit before, truth be told.  And for Thanksgiving I went more casual with dark wash jeans (lots of stretch), a blue and white gingham button-down and an orange sweater.  My husband went with medium/dark wash jeans and a green and tan baseball long-sleeve t-shirt.

There you have it!  This week I will be starting a new class.  It’s a 4 week class like I did in October, but instead of teaching Business Communication I am teaching Effective Speaking.  The first week we meet 4 days, the second week 2 days, the 3rd week 3 days, and the 4th week 2 days.  It’s a bit of a crazy schedule but it’ll all work out!

Last week I wore skirts both days.  I had one outfit that was a planned outfit from several weeks ago, but the other one I came up with impromptu.

Here they are:

This outfit was my version of this pin, here.   Although, my husband says that the skirt in the pin is above the knee, and my skirt is professional.  I don’t have a reddish/rust colored scarf, so I went with a cream colored infinity scarf and added the rust color with my lipstick.  On Thursday, I did a version of this pin, here.  I started with a navy skirt and went from there.  I had a plaid shirt and a green cardigan.  Then, I added a belt and a green necklace.  I liked the outfit all except the shoes.  I didn’t have a pair of shoes that I really loved with the outfit.  However, my some of my students complimented my outfit on Thursday.  I awarded them all bonus points!
