New Jeans

Posted by writergrll. Comment (1).

On a recent trip to Wal-Mart I went to check out the maternity section and noticed that the space was completely cleared out!  This meant that the items had been marked for clearance.  I felt a giddy flutter in my stomach– but that could have been Baby Girl showing her excitement.  A quick search turned up the clearanced items and this light wash pair of maternity skinny jeans for $10 made it into my cart.  I went with a large instead of a medium because I wanted them to still fit in a few more weeks.  I’m so glad that I’ve added another option to my maternity wardrobe.

I’ve paired them with a top that I’ve worn several times before, a gold sparkly cardigan, and purple ballet flats.  My jewelry is pretty simple– my everyday silver watch and drop pearl earrings.  This outfit was so comfortable and I felt put together.  Here’s two other ways that I’ve styled this top with a yellow cardigan earlier in my pregnancy:

I’ve worn this top quite a bit but I don’t always take pictures.  The way that it’s cut is very accommodating to my growing baby.
